“The BDG is making a difference! Based on the number of participants in attendance we have learned that the need was even greater than anticipated. Bringing BD and Ops together in this forum is increasing the understanding between groups of people that think and operate differently, but are realizing that they really do all have the same goals. We just achieve them in different ways. Stephen Covey said, “Seek first to understand, then to be understood.”! Come help us bridge the gap and further our BD and Ops understanding!” – Rebecca Timmer, Dibble Corp.
“The energy in the room at any and all of the BD Guild programs I have attended is not only incredible but inspiring. The amount of knowledge shared within the interactive format has now become the Guild culture and cannot be found elsewhere.” – Tammy Carr, Mortenson
“Passion is the most important parts of what we do. The Guild bringing people together with same purpose has been invaluable.”
“This was the best BD Guild I have attended. I appreciated the break out table discussions with owner perspectives.” – Response to March 1, 2016 “Two Sides of the Coin” Meeting
“There is a good exchange of information. Perspectives are varied and there is no one way of doing things.”
“The Guild has been a terrific platform for giving back to the profession while building relationships for on-going pursuit of work.”
“Value to me today is knowing our company is on track with what we have to do – continue to communicate with operations.”

Each Business Development Guild meeting continues to bring solid information that will benefit our team moving forward, especially since the BD role is new here at my new firm.

Alex,
The October presentation ” Bridge Over Troubled Waters” was terrific, the panel members were truly in sync. At ACS Services, LLC, we are not a firm in troubled waters trying to reconnect, however, we have been mainly in the Public Sector and now trying to really branch out into the Private Sector and all of what your team shared applies, Bottom line, it does all come down to communication and continuing to let the BD professional build on those relationships, that is what keeps your bridge connected!!
thank you!
