Although March Madness is heading to the desert in less than a week’s time, there was no real madness to report of at the latest installment of The Business Development Guild!
Tuesday the 21st set the scene for a member meeting amongst a panel and attendees at the Esplanade Center at the Biltmore. More than 75 attendees gathered in a conversation setting to establish a connection between business development and operations.
Led by our moderator Eric Stiller, the panel was questioned towards topics related to the following: setting up expectations for a team, how to motivate a team when a situation starts to turn sour, how to develop a plan before entering a new market, and how to restart when things go astray. The panel did an outstanding job going through each subject and not only giving thought-provoking responses, but also engaged the audience where attendees could speak their own feedback as well.
The Business Development Guild continues to establish beneficial meetings for its following, while the attendance numbers continue to improve. Thank you to everyone that could take time out of their day to attend and we look forward to seeing some new and familiar faces at our next meeting in May! Keep an eye out for announcements related to subject matter and the date for the next member meeting.
Friendly reminder to all of our members and aspiring meeting attendees that the online buying period for regular pricing will ALWAYS close the Friday at 6:00 PM prior to the meeting date. If you had issues with your name being on the check-in list, not having a badge printer, etc. make sure to finalize your registration the Friday prior.
